This Basic Ray Box is a robust and reliable light source designed for teaching optics in school science laboratories. Suitable for KS3 and above, it features a durable all-metal ventilated lamp house with an open front and extended sides to maximise heat dissipation during use.
The unit includes vertical internal grooves to securely hold slit plates and optical components such as cylindrical lenses, allowing for a wide range of light experiments. Supplied complete with a slit plate featuring both single and triple slits, it enables the creation of clear, defined light beams for accurate demonstrations.
