This Bare Eureka (Constantan) Wire is supplied on a 125 g reel and manufactured to a 0.27 mm diameter, equivalent to 32 SWG (Standard Wire Gauge). Made from a copper–nickel alloy with a very low temperature coefficient of resistance, this wire is ideal for precise electrical experiments where resistance must remain stable despite temperature changes. It is widely used for resistance coils, bridge circuits, Ohm’s law investigations, and other controlled electrical measurements.
Lightweight, easy to shape, and consistent in performance, this fine‑gauge Constantan wire is perfectly suited to detailed school and college physics work.
Perfect for KS3–KS5 physics, this fine‑gauge wire supports investigations such as:
A valuable and dependable resource for any school physics laboratory requiring stable, fine‑gauge resistance wire.
