The Electric Vacuum Pump (220V) is an efficient, compact, and reliable piece of laboratory equipment designed for producing reduced‑pressure conditions during school science experiments. Featuring an oil‑less, maintenance‑free design, this pump delivers consistent performance while remaining ultra‑quiet and easy to operate, making it ideal for educational laboratory environments.
Powered by a robust 1/6 HP AC motor, the vacuum pump delivers an airflow of up to 38 litres per minute and achieves a vacuum level of 650mm Hg. It is supplied complete with a nozzle and stopcock, allowing precise control of pressure during experiments. The adjustable pressure setting enables teachers and students to safely tailor suction levels to suit specific demonstrations or investigations.
Lightweight and compact, weighing just 4.8kg, the pump is easy to position on the laboratory bench or in a prep room. Its solid construction and proven track record for durability make it well suited for frequent use in school science departments. The pump operates on standard 220V mains electricity.
Please note: Suitable tubing is required for operation. Use high‑pressure tubing with an 8mm bore (BEES Code 2736).
Ideal for KS4, GCSE, and A‑Level science, this electric vacuum pump supports a wide range of physics and chemistry experiments that require reduced pressure or controlled suction. Its quiet operation and adjustable pressure make it well suited to classroom demonstrations as well as practical investigations.
Compact, powerful, and easy to maintain, this Electric Vacuum Pump is an excellent addition to any school science department, supporting safe, engaging, and effective practical teaching.
