The Hanna Soil Test Kit provides a quick, reliable and easy‑to‑use method for analysing the essential chemical properties of soil. Ideal for gardening, agriculture and school science lessons, this kit allows users to test pH as well as the three major plant nutrients—nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P) and potassium (K).
Using the kit is simple: a soil sample is mixed with water and combined with one of the supplied chemical reagents. The resulting colour change is compared to the included chart to determine whether nutrient levels are low, medium or high. pH is measured on a scale from pH 4 to pH 9 in increments of 1 pH unit.
The kit contains all components needed to perform 10 tests for each of the four soil parameters, or alternatively 25 tests per parameter using the extended reagent supply. This makes it ideal for repeated testing throughout the growing season or across multiple samples in a classroom or fieldwork setting.
Perfect for KS3, GCSE and A‑Level biology, geography and environmental science, this soil test kit supports hands‑on investigations such as:
Accurate, user‑friendly and designed for repeated use, the Hanna Soil Test Kit is an excellent resource for monitoring soil quality in both educational and practical applications.
