This high‑purity Sodium Hydroxide Pellets, commonly known as Caustic Soda, are supplied in a 500g container and manufactured to dependable LR (Laboratory Reagent) Grade standards. With CAS Number 1310‑73‑2 and classified under UN Number 1823, these pellets are suitable for supervised use in educational science laboratories.
Sodium hydroxide pellets dissolve readily in water to produce a strong alkaline solution, making them ideal for preparing standardised bases for titrations, neutralisation reactions, saponification experiments, and a range of analytical investigations. Due to their corrosive nature, they must be handled with appropriate care by trained staff.
Sodium hydroxide pellets are widely used across GCSE and A‑Level chemistry, supporting key topics in quantitative analysis and chemical reactions.
These Sodium Hydroxide Pellets provide consistent, high‑quality performance for safe, controlled use in school laboratories.
