Geiger Muller Sensor with Jack Plug & Button for Sound [80716]

Geiger-Müller sensor with a built-in high-voltage supply that is suitable for use in many of the traditional experiments with radioactivity.

• The GM tube can detect both alpha, beta and gamma radiation. The GM sensor is equipped with a beeper, which marks each detected particle (the sound can be switched off).
• Comes with a protective cap which is recommended to protect the fragile mica window. The hood should be removed when measuring alpha and beta radiation.
• The sensor is also compatible with PASCO's data collection equipment, as well as with Frederiksen's Geiger Muller Counter (BEES code 80705)
• A Ø 10 mm tensioning pin is included.
