The Orbit Orrery is an engaging, hands‑on model designed to help students understand the basic structure and motion of our solar system. This interactive teaching aid includes an illuminated Sun, all eight planets, and the Earth’s Moon, providing a clear and memorable visual representation of planetary orbits.
Planets can be moved around the Sun, allowing pupils to explore orbital motion, relative positioning, and the concept of planets revolving around a central star. Compact yet highly visual, the model measures 10cm high with a maximum orbit diameter of 38cm, making it ideal for classroom demonstrations, science tables, or display use.
The Orbit Orrery is perfectly suited to KS1, KS2, and KS3 science lessons, supporting the teaching of basic astronomy and space science. It provides a tactile and visual approach to concepts that are often difficult to grasp through diagrams alone.
Clear, interactive, and visually engaging, the Orbit Orrery is an excellent resource for bringing space science to life, helping pupils develop a strong foundational understanding of our solar system through hands‑on exploration.
