Calendula 'FlashBack Mix'. This colourful mix has been bred for variation, both of style and colour, guaranteed to brighten up any corner of the garden. At night pot marigolds close their petals, revealing the equally beautiful backs of the petals.

Calendula flowers are edible, their petals were originally used to colour butter, whereas today they are more popular in salads or cake decorations.

These seeds are grown from OSSI-Pledged seeds meaning you are free to collect the seeds after flowering to save for the following year or even sell on.

In autumn or spring, either sow in-situ into well-raked soil, alternatively you can use a seed-tray and later transplant. Cover the seeds with 1cm of soil and thin seedlings to allow 30cm between each plant.

Pot Marigolds are often grown in vegetable gardens as they attract valuable pollinators such as hover-flies and ladybirds, both of which help reduce aphid populations.

2g is approximately 150 seeds, 4g around 300 seeds. All seeds are grown and harvested in Shropshire, UK.
