Petroleum Spirit 80–100 °C, also known as Petroleum Ether or Ligroine, is a refined hydrocarbon solvent supplied in a 500ml UN‑approved container. Manufactured to Laboratory Reagent (LR) grade, it is suitable for controlled use in educational science laboratories and preparation rooms.
This fraction has a defined boiling range of 80 °C to 100 °C, making it useful for practical investigations involving volatility, distillation, and solvent behaviour. The product is identified by CAS Number: 8032‑32‑4 and UN Number: 1268, and is labelled in accordance with transport and safety regulations.
