The Light Box and Optical Set is an essential toolkit for teaching and demonstrating key principles of reflection, refraction, dispersion and colour mixing in school science lessons. Designed for hands‑on learning, this versatile kit allows students to explore how light behaves using high‑quality optical components and a powerful light source.
The light box is fitted with a 12V, 24W lamp capable of producing convergent, divergent or parallel beams. One end of the light box features an adjustable cylindrical convex lens for generating parallel light, while the opposite end contains a triple-aperture colour‑mixing system with hinged adjustable mirrors for experiments in additive colour mixing.
All apertures include vertical channels for inserting slit plates and colour filters, allowing students to shape and manipulate light with precision. The included optical accessory set enhances the learning experience with a wide range of components for investigating the behaviour of light through different media.
Supplied with full working instructions. Power supply required.
Perfect for KS3, GCSE and A‑Level physics, this Light Box and Optical Set provides everything needed to explore and demonstrate:
Robust, versatile and highly engaging, this Light Box and Optical Set is a must‑have resource for delivering clear, hands‑on demonstrations of fundamental light and optics principles.
