The hotplate can reach temperatures of up to 250°C (480°F) within minutes and delivers a heating power of 180W—sufficient to bring 500ml of water to the boil in around 20 minutes at a low stirring speed. The integrated magnetic stirrer operates from 0 to approximately 1400 rpm (or 100–2000 rpm depending on load) and can stir up to 500ml of liquid effectively, with a maximum vessel capacity of 2000ml.

The durable 120 × 120mm aluminium plate provides excellent heat conduction, making this hotplate stirrer suitable for a variety of school and laboratory tasks.
