This Hooke’s Law Apparatus is a complete, ready‑to‑use setup designed for demonstrating how the extension of a spring is proportional to the load applied, supporting clear and accurate investigations into fundamental physics principles. Ideal for KS3 and above, the apparatus provides a stable and easy‑to‑use platform for exploring force, extension, elasticity, and proportionality.
The unit features a 15 cm adjustable scale, marked in millimetres, mounted on a sturdy 30 cm support rod fixed to a wooden base. The adjustable scale helps minimise parallax error, ensuring students can take accurate measurements. A coiled spring, mass hanger, and indicator are suspended from the rod, enabling students to record precise changes in spring extension as weights are added.
To support immediate use in the classroom, the apparatus includes 10 g weight plates and detailed experimental notes.
Perfect for KS3–KS5 physics, this apparatus supports:
Reliable, robust, and classroom‑ready, this Hooke’s Law Apparatus is an essential resource for helping students understand key concepts in forces and elasticity.
