Grating Spectroscope – Direct Vision Student Model

This high‑quality Grating Spectroscope is a lightweight, durable plastic direct‑vision spectroscope, ideal for classroom use and student investigations. Fitted with a high‑efficiency diffraction grating in the eyepiece, it produces a bright and clear spectrum, even under low‑light conditions—excellent for studying emission lines and wavelength distribution in visible light.

An adjustable slit allows users to fine‑tune the incoming light, maximising resolution and producing sharp, well‑defined spectral bands. The spectrum is viewed directly against a wavelength scale graduated in nanometres, enabling accurate identification and comparison of emission lines.

The outer casing includes labelled wavelength markings of commonly observed spectra, supporting quick reference and enhancing student understanding. The spectroscope measures 195mm × 98mm × 25mm, making it compact, portable, and easy to handle during classroom experiments.
