The 4× Life‑Size Left Ear Model is a detailed anatomical teaching aid designed to support the study of the human auditory system. Suitable for KS3 and above, this enlarged model allows students to clearly explore the structure and function of the ear in a hands‑on and visually engaging way.
Approximately four times full size, the model shows the complex internal anatomy of the ear with excellent clarity. The petrous portion of the temporal bone and the section of the auditory canal are removable, revealing the labyrinth, which can be taken out and opened for closer inspection. The tympanic membrane with malleus and incus is also removable, allowing the ear to be studied in a total of five detachable parts.
Mounted on a stable display base, the model is numbered and supplied with a key card to support structured teaching and student identification of anatomical features. Its robust construction makes it ideal for repeated classroom use and demonstration.
This ear model is ideal for secondary school biology lessons, supporting topics related to hearing, sound transmission, and the sensory systems. The removable components help students clearly understand how sound travels through the ear and is processed by the body.
Accurate, durable, and easy to interpret, this 4× Life‑Size Ear Model is an excellent visual aid for helping students build confidence and understanding in human biology and sensory science.
