The Dispo Jar 3.6L is a large‑capacity, practical solution for the safe containment and disposal of small hazardous laboratory waste. Designed for routine use in microbiology, pathology, and school science laboratories, this container is ideal for collecting inoculating loops, cotton wool, wipes, and other contaminated disposable items generated during daily practical work.
Manufactured from high‑clarity polyethylene (PET), the jar is fully autoclavable. When sterilised, the container collapses safely around the waste material, helping to significantly reduce waste volume and minimise space required for final disposal. This makes it an efficient and hygienic option for managing laboratory waste in accordance with good laboratory practice.
Supplied with a secure screw cap, the large 3.6L Dispo Jar is particularly suited to busy teaching laboratories and prep rooms where higher volumes of waste are produced. (Two sizes are available within the range to support flexible waste management.)
The Dispo Jar 3.6L is ideal for KS4, GCSE, and A‑Level science laboratories, particularly during microbiology‑based practical activities. It supports safe and organised laboratory practice by:
Robust, efficient, and easy to use, the Dispo Jar 3.6L is an essential laboratory consumable that supports safe science teaching and effective hazardous waste management in educational settings.
