Thermochromic Sheet – 450 × 300mm Self‑Adhesive Liquid Crystal Film

This remarkable Thermochromic Sheet is coated with thermochromic liquid crystal “ink” that changes to a vibrant bright blue when heated above 27 °C. Supplied in a generous 450 × 300mm format, the sheet features a self‑adhesive backing, allowing it to be applied easily to a range of surfaces for both practical and demonstration purposes.

The material is highly versatile and suitable for numerous applications, including temperature indication, safety warnings, interactive displays, and creative educational projects. Dramatic colour changes can also be produced by attaching a resistance wire to the rear of the sheet and applying a small current, making it ideal for classroom demonstrations involving heat transfer and electrical energy. Since most experiments only require a small area, sections as little as 25 × 25mm can be cut from the full sheet.

Key Features

  • Thermochromic self‑adhesive sheet with liquid crystal coating
  • Changes to bright blue above 27 °C
  • Sheet size: 450 × 300mm
