These Grade A Porcelain Crucibles (91ml, without lid) are high quality laboratory vessels designed for heating, ignition, and high‑temperature applications in educational and professional science environments. Manufactured from premium laboratory‑grade porcelain, they are produced under a certified ISO 9001:2000 quality management system, ensuring consistent performance and reliability.
Developed using advanced ceramic technology, JIPO laboratory porcelain is globally recognised for its excellent chemical and thermal resistance. The presence of well‑developed mullite crystals increases the softening point, enhances mechanical strength, and provides a low coefficient of thermal expansion. This enables the crucibles to withstand high thermal shock and repeated heating cycles. The high softening point allows glazed porcelain articles to be used, under suitable conditions, at temperatures of up to 1100 °C.
This squat form crucible has a practical 91ml capacity and is supplied without a lid, making it ideal for open heating and classroom demonstrations. Supplied as a pack of 10, they are perfectly suited to busy school laboratories.
Ideal for KS3, GCSE, and A Level science lessons, these Grade A Porcelain Crucibles support a wide range of high‑temperature chemistry experiments and demonstrations.
Durable, heat resistant, and manufactured to high standards, these Grade A Porcelain Crucibles provide excellent performance and safety, making them an essential resource for effective and engaging practical science teaching.
