Urease Tablets are supplied in a convenient tub of 10 tablets for use in educational biology and biochemistry laboratories. Urease is an enzyme that catalyses the breakdown of urea into ammonia and carbon dioxide, making it an important reagent for demonstrating enzyme activity and nitrogen metabolism.
The tablet format provides consistent enzyme activity, ease of handling, and reproducible results, helping to simplify preparation for classroom practical work. With no UN number and no assigned CAS number, urease tablets are not classified as hazardous for transport when handled appropriately.
Supplied ready‑to‑use, these tablets are ideal for repeated lessons and reduce preparation time for teachers and laboratory technicians.
Urease Tablets are particularly well suited to GCSE and A‑Level biology lessons, especially when studying enzymes, digestion, and nitrogen‑containing compounds. All use should be conducted under appropriate supervision and in line with school laboratory guidance.
Reliable, easy to use, and curriculum‑relevant, Urease Tablets (Tub of 10) are a valuable teaching resource that supports hands‑on learning and helps students gain a clear understanding of enzyme function and biological reactions.
