The Data Harvest Wireless Infrared (IR) Sensor is a high-performance physics sensor designed for measuring infrared radiation from a wide variety of surfaces and environments. It enables students to investigate thermal energy transfer, heat loss, and radiation through accurate, real-time data collection.

This versatile sensor supports a wide range of classic physics demonstrations and investigations, including Leslie’s cube, heat conduction along metal rods, Herschel’s discovery of infrared radiation, and the Stefan–Boltzmann law. It also allows students to explore everyday thermal physics concepts such as insulation efficiency, filament lamp performance, and heat loss from the human body.

With its wireless design, the sensor provides complete freedom of movement in the classroom and outdoors.
