This high‑quality Flammables Storage Cabinet is manufactured in the UK to ensure safe, compliant storage of flammable liquids and hazardous materials in school laboratories, prep rooms, workshops, and industrial environments. Built from 20‑gauge mild steel with fully welded seams, the cabinet is designed for durability, fire resistance, and long service life.
The cabinet is fitted with a reinforced, non‑combustible door using high‑melting‑point hinges, providing a secure and robust barrier in the event of fire. A lockable L‑handle with a two‑point locking system enhances security and ensures proper containment when hazardous materials are not in use. Two keys are supplied.
Rated to provide 30 minutes of fire protection, the cabinet helps organisations meet essential safety requirements for storing flammable substances. Inside, an adjustable shelf doubles as a spillage tray for containing minor leaks or drips. The shelf position can be adjusted in 25mm increments to suit different container heights.
A built‑in spillage sump is integrated into the base of the cabinet to safely contain accidental spills. This sump is internal and non‑removable for maximum integrity. Finished in a durable yellow polyester powder coating, the cabinet is easy to clean and features bold hazard warning labels for clear visual identification.
This flammables cabinet is perfect for science departments needing safe storage for substances such as:
It helps ensure compliance with school laboratory safety guidelines and supports safe, organised storage practices. The clear warning labels and high‑visibility finish also make it easier for staff and students to identify hazardous storage areas during lessons on laboratory safety and chemical handling.
