Thermochromic Pigment – Orange (5ml)

This high‑quality Thermochromic Pigment – Orange is supplied as a smooth liquid paste that is fully compatible with acrylic paints, mediums, and craft materials. At normal room temperature, the pigment appears coloured, but at approximately 27°C the colour fades and becomes transparent, revealing the background colour beneath.

For example, applying the pigment over a white surface creates a colour change from orange to white at the activation temperature. Used over an orange background, the surface appears to “disappear” at 27°C as the underlying colour shows through. Once cooled, the pigment returns to its original colour. The pigment is easy to mix—simply blend one part pigment with four parts acrylic base. Supplied in a convenient 5ml syringe for precise dispensing.
